TV4RV MARCH NEWSLETTER
TREES and TREES and MORE TREES ! In the last issue of the Newsletter we discussed the difficulty of aiming a satellite dish when there is a heavy tree cover. A few days after publishing the newsletter, we received a call from a customer in Florida. He had successfully set up his dish using our Heavy-Duty Tripod package, several times at previous locations. Upon arriving at his latest site he has been unable to get a signal. In discussion, we learned that there were some trees in the direction he was aiming, but he thought he was able to aim through a clear spot. Because of the site restrictions, he was unable to move his dish very far, which limited his options. We explained that the signal from the satellite did not come into the dish at a plane that is perpendicular to the face of the dish. It actually comes in at an angle above that plane. When we last spoke he was going to purchase an AP for his I Phone that allows him to see the satellite position in relation to his trees. We mentioned that our new SATELLITE DISH AIMING SCOPE was soon to be available on our website.
THE NEW SCOPE IS NOW AVAILABLE - CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO PURCHASE.
